The Archive Mission
Every weekend in Morocco, hundreds of developers, designers, and domain experts gather in auditoriums and classrooms to build the future.
They sacrifice sleep, write thousands of lines of code, and pitch innovative solutions to critical local and global problems. But by Monday morning, most of these prototypes disappear. GitHub repositories lay abandoned, pitch decks are lost in Google Drive, and the collective technical output of these intense 48-hour sprints evaporates.
"The MaHackathon Gallery exists to prevent the deletion of Moroccan innovation. We are building the permanent ledger of what we create."
Why We Build
We believe that a thriving tech ecosystem requires a shared memory. By archiving these projects, we:
- Inspire the next generation of hackers to build upon past ideas rather than reinventing the wheel.
- Provide a portfolio for developers to prove their capability to employers and investors.
- Map the ecosystem, showing exactly which cities and communities are driving innovation in sectors like AgriTech, FinTech, and EdTech.
